Employee Spotlight: Kaitlyn Eaton

We are excited to highlight Kaitlyn Eaton as December’s Employee Spotlight! Kaitlyn is a Team Leader for our Enterprise team and joined VSC in March of 2023. We asked Kaitlyn what drew her to apply at VSC, and she stated, “I saw a strong opportunity to build a meaningful career and grow within a company that values development and long-term contribution.”

Since she began in 2023, Kaitlyn recalled how she had seen the Enterprise team grow exponentially, not only in the number of customers that team serves, but also in the size of their team. The team began with two employees and has since expanded into a thriving group of over 20 people, which reflects the team’s growth and success.

Reliability is something that resonates deep within Kaitlyn. She takes pride in “being someone that the team, offices, and customers can depend on.” Kaitlyn went on to explain “Whether it’s resolving issues or stepping in to support others, I believe consistency and follow-through are key to delivering great service.”

When asked about working at VSC, Kaitlyn highlights how it has been “unlike any other company” she’s been a part of. “VSC has consistently provided opportunities for continued learning and professional growth, which I truly value,” she said. “The team I work with is made up of hardworking, honest individuals who strive for excellence every day. I couldn’t ask for a better company to grow with, both personally and professionally.”. 

Her proudest achievement at VSC has been working her way up to the role of Enterprise Team Lead. She has really enjoyed being able to lead her team, even with challenges. She enjoys being able to guide and support the team to “ensure our divisions and customer’s needs are met consistently. It’s incredibly rewarding to play a direct role in our team’s success and in delivering exceptional service”.

Lois Ray-Paliulis, who is the VP, Division Manager for the Enterprise team highlights some of Kaitlyn’s strengths, noting “She is very customer service focused and continues to strive for excellence while representing VSC. She has gone from Coordinator to Team Lead in a short time and excels at it.”

Along with her achievements has come professional growth, which has given Kaitlyn the opportunity to grow into a leadership role and expand her knowledge of fire protection and life safety. She has also been able to receive support from leadership, which has been instrumental in her success within the Enterprise team. Lois also went on to describe Kaitlyn’s work ethic as “dedicated, loyal, and efficient”.

When she is not on the clock, Kaitlyn enjoys watching “Friends,” camping, spending time with her family at Lake Ouachita, or checking out her favorite local restaurant, Colton’s. She would like to take an Alaskan Cruise and see the Northern Lights one day, even though she loves camping and sunshine. Her first job was at a local grocery store, Harps. It taught her the importance of caring for customers, hard work, and building strong relationships with both customers and team members.
