We are proud to recognize Brooke Renfro for Employee Spotlight! Brook joined VSC in 2025 and is our Office Manager in the Austin, Texas Sprinkler division. Brooke applied for her role after moving in June of 2025 and was working remotely for her previous company. “This job seemed very similar to what I was doing for my previous employer,” she said.
In the year she has been with us, Brooke has seen the company grow in many areas. “We are growing and learning every day, and it is quite pleasing to see,” she said. “I have had the best experience here at VSC. I feel more part of a family, rather than a number,” she added.
Dave Koopman, VP Division Manager for our Austin, Texas Sprinkler division, remembers his first impression of Brooke. “From my first interaction, she demonstrated genuine eagerness to learn and a positive attitude. It was clear she possessed the curiosity, work ethic and willingness to grow that would make her a strong addition to our team,” he said.
Even though she has only been with us just over a year, Brooke is proud of what she has accomplished since joining. “Being promoted to Office Manager and gaining a new division was not what I was expecting. I worked hard being an Assistant Office Manager and it’s nice to see that hard work pays off,” she said.
“Brooke was asked to provide support to other divisions that did not have an Office Manager. She has demonstrated the ability to effectively manage responsibilities across multiple teams while maintaining a high level of service and professionalism. Her willingness to extend support beyond her primary responsibilities reflects strong collaboration, organizational awareness and a commitment to the overall success of the company. Brooke has become a trusted resource whose knowledge and dependability positively impact not only our division, but others across the organization”, Dave said.
Brooke has also noticed how friendly everyone is, not just in her division, but companywide. “I have not come across one person who is not willing to help or answer questions,” she added.
In her free time, Brooke enjoys watching “The Office” and being a mom. She loves watching her middle son play baseball, playing with her daughter, and watching her oldest son do leatherwork.
