Our Virginia Beach, Virginia Sprinkler Division is proud to be part of the LS GreenLink manufacturing campus project in Chesapeake, Virginia. This is a landmark endeavor that will support the production of high-voltage subsea power cables for America’s growing energy infrastructure.
The project includes a 660-foot Vertical Continuous Vulcanization (VCV) Tower, reported to be the tallest structure in Virginia, and a major advanced manufacturing facility. VSC is providing comprehensive life safety and fire protection solutions throughout the campus, which includes protection for a 400,000-square-foot manufacturing and warehouse facility, the 660-foot VCV Tower, three testing buildings, raw material storage facilities, and administrative offices.
Our work also includes advanced fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm and emergency notification systems, multiple fire pumps, and a dedicated fire protection water storage tank, as well as specialized clean agent and inert gas fire suppression systems designed to protect critical equipment and mission-critical operations.
This marks one of Virginia’s most significant manufacturing developments, and VSC is helping protect the facilities that will support the next generation of energy transmission infrastructure. We are installing water-based suppression and fire alarm systems as well as clean agents and inert gas protection, which offers a complete life safety solution. With construction progressing, we are working toward bringing the fire protection systems online by November 2027, with final turnover anticipated by the end of 2027.
We are honored to be a part of this landmark project and work alongside LS GreenLink, Hyundai Engineering America, and the entire project team.
